My photographic ideas are based on the principle of upside-down image of the darkroom,in the first stage of the photographic process, the picture is actually taken upside down. From this point, the process is essentially the same as the human retina; the picture is restored to its natural form in the darkroom(i.e. the human brain). It is here that the darkroom and the brain "mark the tensions between occupying their ability to process images and their roles in the observations." ( but...'brain show their differences in their respective ability to process images and observe')
My work refers to the oeuvre of Georg Baselitz and Rodney Graham, the first is a painter, the second a photographer.
Their works seem to be opposite because their mediums are different, for all that they are complementary for me. This has been the starting point of my photographic work "Handstand".
"The best way to be empty the content was painting" to "look to the painting itself" Reversing the image proves that the reality is the Picture, "the subject painted upside-down can be used for the painting because it is useless as an object. "
Georg Baselitz
This position in french means "Arbre droit" (Straight tree), this tree symbolises the essence of life, and well-being in chinese medicine.
Thereby, in reverse these pictures give us a different vision of the world around us, therefore I like to use different places in differents cities and countries, it's a fundamental part of my work.
The notion of a trip is really important to awareness and understanding of my project, apart from this I am fond of the image aesthetic.
